Our client’s unique position and solid standing within the marketplace is derived from their product performance, customer confidence and brand loyalty which means that they can confidently boast market leading levels of customer satisfaction and service.   An exciting opportunity has arisen within this already high performing organisation for a dynamic Commercial Manager charged with increasing their presence in the UK and Foreign markets.   The Role:

  • Effectively managing the internal and external sales teams to increase productivity and revenue.
  • You will be responsible for developing profitable relationships with customers via face to face contact.
  • To increase market share in existing markets as well as establishing market presence in new sectors.
  • To gain new business whilst maximising product performance and service benefits to maintain profitability.
  • To grow the export arm of the business in Europe initially and then further afield.
  • Full product training will be given allowing you to provide our clients customers with the necessary support when required and assistance on compliance with legislation.

  The Individual:

  • You will have a proven track record in achieving sales targets from both new business generation and nurturing existing accounts. 
  • You will be self motivated and target orientated, able to work as part of a team and think creatively around problems until a solution has been found. 
  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably within an electrical/electronic market. A track record of success in developing new business with experience of managing a sales team.
  • Driven, with a questioning outlook and able to demonstrate a sustained period of success within multiple market sectors.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate a strong background in consultative solution selling along with the ability to build trusting relationships with both customers and team members.
  • You will need to be organised, resourceful, energetic, determined and demonstrate the ability to maximise time in the field to best effect.
