I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Product Development professional to join the busy product development department within this market leading food business. They have an enviable reputation for delivering quality market leading products in to the major retailers. Reporting in to the Commercial Manager you will take full responsibility for managing projects from initial concept to full production launch.
You will be responsible for –
- Managing projects from concept through to launch for the major multiples
- Working closely with the suppliers, retailers, development, technical and commercial departments to identify and develop new and improved products
- Identifying new opportunities to drive sales and profitability
- Present product ideas and attributes to both internal teams and external customers, supporting the NAM’s at product development meetings
- Writing finished product specification and artwork sign off
- Managing new packaging initiatives
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with a degree in Food Technology / Science or have relevant experience gained within in the Food Industry. This role would be ideal for a self motivated and enthusiastic professional with a strong desire to follow a career within product development. Previous experience of managing and delivering successful NPD projects within the meat sector would be advantageous.
