Location: South West

Salary: circa £30-35k per annum + bonus + car

 

Our Client is a global leader in Stainless Steel Products. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to focus on a range of products including Steel Grades, Coil, Sheet and Plate, Quarto Plate, Long Products, Stainless Rebar, Tubular Products and Thin Strips.

 

The Role:

  • Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the main purpose of the role is to manage the proactive sales and marketing aspects of the company, developing business within the existing client base and identifying new business opportunities.
  • To create awareness of new and existing products and services, their features and applications within the industry; and to generate enquiries and sales leads.
  • Understand the procurement strategies and drivers within a diverse client base that will include SME type enterprises as well as larger Blue-Chip clients.
  • This new position has the potential, through the successful growth in both the core business and new sectors, for significant professional and career development.

 

The Candidate:

  • You will come from a strong sales and business development background, with a proven track record of achievement and success.
  • You should have experience of operating within the Stainless Steel Products sector.
  • Already operating in a New Business Development arena, you will be ideally placed to assist in the diversification into new sectors.
  • You will also be proactively involved in the ongoing development and enhancement of the service and product range the company offers, and so should have prior experience of market and product development.
  • You will have knowledge and experience of delivering sales presentations at all levels.
  • The role is to be based in the South West.
