New Consultant

I began my career at Rilwood nearly two months ago and have not looked back.  After completion of an introductory course, I was warmly welcomed into a vibrant and high spirited team who have been very supportive throughout my training so far.

Experienced Consultant

I applied for a consultant’s position at Rilwood Associates having seen an advert on the internet. Within 20 minutes of applying I received a call from the MD. Following a 15 minute conversation we agreed I would attend an interview the following day. The interview process was thorough and I got to meet the owners of the business, the team I was being considered for and the back office staff. I was made to feel part of the team even though I was only at interview stage. Thankfully I was offered a position and left, the same day, with a contract of employment and a start date. I had no hesitation in accepting the offer.

I started a couple of weeks later and I arrived that morning to find everything was ready for me. Once again I was taken around to meet everyone and the thing that sticks in my mind was how welcome I was made to feel. My new manager sat with me going through day structure, systems and expectations. Despite having recruitment experience I was given full training and advised on the levels of professionalism I would be expected to display. This is where I noticed a fundamental difference from my previous recruitment experience. Rilwood Associates take great pride in the way it is portrayed in the relevant marketplaces. Consultants are encouraged to build relationships with clients and candidates and look for mid to long term gain rather than the “smash and grab” approach adopted by some companies. From my peers to managers and directors of the business Rilwood have an open door policy – this enabled me to develop quickly and start achieving results that benefited my team, the company and me. Manager

During my 5 years at Rilwood I have seen my career develop from trainee consultant, to consultant, senior consultant, to manager, to running a new division with responsibility for multiple teams.  I have always had a clear agenda about what I wanted out of my career and personal life, and the best thing about working here is you get the opportunity and environment to achieve what you want.
