In particular I am most impressed with my consultant.  He picked up my details from Monster and called me and he proactively worked to secure interviews and finally a super position.

What impressed me was that he did not have experience of the semi-conductor market and while I was initially sceptical however, my consultant showed he had the skill and drive to focus in on the senior executives of target companies.

He asked a lot of excellent questions so that he could focus on the right companies. There are many specialist recruitment companies in the semiconductor market and Mark left them standing.

For the future I will certainly point quality candidates at him (and I have already started) and if I need to hire he is the first recruitment agent I will call.

My consultant first contacted me at work but clearly understood the need to be discrete and handled the initial discussions perfectly. He also clearly understood the need to positively identify that the opportunity was suited to me so no time would be wasted by either party. His manner on the phone was professional and friendly at all times. Once an initial discussion had been had with the prospective employer, he worked hard to close any loose ends and ease any concerns, including ascertaining a suitable package  early in the process, essentially laying all the groundwork before a second interview was held. I felt this was particularly useful as it allowed more focused discussions about the vacancy rather than getting distracted in detail

After my second interview, my consultant acted  positively to ensure I was happy with all aspects of the offer and tried to close any concerns through positive discussions and negotiations. Just a brief 'note' to express my sincere thanks for your help in finding me my new job. 

As I told you last week, you have completely changed my perception of recruitment agencies! 

I have twice had the misfortune to be made redundant.  On both of these occasions I conducted my own job search, believing that Agencies too often provided candidates for interviews to bulk up the numbers, so to speak. The result of my 'go it alone' approach was that my job searches lasted more than six months each time.
