Rilwood was set up to be a people focused company and as we grow this has become more and more important to us. To offer true personal development we set up in 2005 our own internal training department to deliver a wide range of training courses including a comprehensive two week induction course, ongoing phone coaching and advanced and innovative management training.

As a reward for the hard work of our employees in 2006 we instigated an ongoing incentive scheme with the entire company being flown abroad for a weekend when certain sales targets were hit. This has resulted in the company enjoying a number of entertaining trips abroad!

Consultant

As a consultant you will be responsible for dealing fully with clients and candidates. Being a successful consultant demands the highest level of self motivation and organisational skills coupled with great sales skills. With full responsibility for all contact with your clients you will need to be a true consultant adding value to your clients through sensible business and recruitment advice.

At Rilwood we recognise how challenging this role can be and all new consultants are assigned priority with the training department, given a senior consultant as a mentor and will work within experienced teams for managers with typically four or five years of industry experience.

The rewards are great for a consultant at Rilwood as we have no sales thresholds to meet. Consequently you make commission on every deal you bring in.

Manager

As a manager you will be responsible for dealing fully with both your own recruitment matters and managing a team of up to six consultants. Far more than managing your consultants you will act as a true leader and mentor.

We know that managers need support and all managers operate with the support of a division manager as well as direct access to the company directors. In addition you will receive first class management and team training on a wide range of activities.

Financially a manager is able to benefit from their teams success as well as being rewarded, as the consultants, with commission on every deal they have personally brought in.

Manager

As Rilwood continued to rapidly grow the need to set up vertical markets became clear. Having spent over 4 years within FMCG recruitment I was headhunted to compose and orchestrate the development of an FMCG Team.  By being given the trust and freedom by the Directors to implement new processes, strategies and some new initiatives the FMCG team became one of the fastest growing teams in Rilwood’s history. We established ourselves as a major and significant brand within the FMCG Arena and are now associated with scores of leading UK and Global brands.

As a result of this success I was given the scope to continue my own business plan and 2 further teams have since been created focussing on Retail and Procurement. The Training & Development Department within Rilwood, very rarely available within recruitment these days, have been invaluable during this dramatic growth from induction courses for new consultants, to specific training courses, to assisting in the development of consultants becoming effective billing managers.  The hard work ethic within Rilwood and friendly warming environment has combined to create a thriving business unit with genuine career paths and fantastic rewards.
