About the Company:
Our client is a global leader in Mineral Processing with over 170 assets worldwide. This is their largest site in Australia supplying a range of industries including mining, agriculture and construction.
They are now looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

- Overtime available. The rate is 1.5 times the hourly wage for the initial 2 hours, then 2 times thereafter. On Sundays, the rate is doubled throughout.
- Permanent Full-time job.
- Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm
Role responsibilities:
- Implementing and optimizing the use of maintenance software (SAP PM) to oversee, document, and assess all maintenance operations across all sites.
- Managing spare parts effectively, including continuous optimization of inventory to ensure required availability and minimize default risks.
- Developing and implementing structured maintenance procedures, tasks, and documentation to enhance plant safety, equipment reliability, and operational efficiencies.
- Coordinating with on-site maintenance supervisors and project managers to plan and execute maintenance tasks and projects.
- Reviewing and correcting all maintenance orders in the system to ensure consistent representation of activities according to guidelines.
- Operating milling circuits efficiently.
Requirements:
- Possession of a relevant trade certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Demonstrated capability in both short and long-term planning for scheduled maintenance.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
